Many companies quote storage rates weekly, however they will charge you monthly. We want you to clearly know how much a month of storage is going to cost you, so you can budget accordingly.

We have informal partnerships in place with a range of local operators and professional removal companies. Give us a call or pop in and we can help guide you on your likely removal needs and suggest suitable businesses to help.

You can store almost any item in a storage unit, from furniture and appliances to sports equipment and seasonal decorations. Not only is it convenient and secure to store many bulky items like mattresses or large TVs, but it also allows you to easily access those items without taking up valuable space in your home.

Self-storage facilities are also great for businesses that need extra space for extra stock, paperwork or even office equipment.

If you are looking to store for 6 to 12 months it’s best to come into the store, choose your unit and have a chat with our team.

Our standard access hours are 8am to 8pm every day of the week.

Some customers need longer access hours and these can be agreed in store.

Yes! We will always do our best to give you the best price and beat any like for like offer.

Yes we do! We stock a range of packing materials, including boxes, bubble wrap, furniture covers, packing tape and more. These can be bought in store, perfect for those last minute moves. We can also provide an extensive range of trolleys and pallet trucks to help you move your goods into your storage unit with ease.

Security is a high priority and our Melksham store has state of the art CCTV which is in operation 24 hours a day internally and externally, along with intruder and fire/smoke alarms. Access to the unit area is via personally programmed fobs and your individual unit will be padlocked by you.

Images are shown in our Size Guide, however we know it isn’t always easy selecting the right units so give us a call, or ideally pop in and take a look at the units so you can work out which size will best suit your needs.

Not a problem, provided we have a larger or smaller unit available we can move you to a more suitably sized unit and adjust the price accordingly. There is no charge to move units.

If you no longer need your unit, we only ask for 14 days notice.

You pay 1 month in advance and every month after that. The first payment will be made by credit/debit card and by autopay after that or we can also set up a direct debit.

Yes, it is mostly common sense, but a list of prohibited items are detailed below:

• Food or perishable items
• Compressed gases
• Toxic, pollutant or contaminated goods
• Firearms, munitions or explosives
• Radioactive materials
• Chemicals or biological agents
• Flammable or hazardous goods
• Any item that emits fumes, odour or a smell
• All living plants and animals
• Cash and securities
• Fireworks
• Illegal goods and/or stolen goods
• Waste, asbestos or any other potentially dangerous materials

We do not allow the storage of motorised vehicles inside our storage units.

Whilst our Melksham store has been built with security in mind, there may unfortunately be some scenarios that we cannot anticipate such as fire or flood where your goods in storage are damaged. For this reason we offer Goods Protection to ensure that all goods are protected when they are stored with us. For more information please see Goods Protection under Advice Hub.

This will vary from customer to customer and depends on the value of the items being stored. Your items must be protected for their true, total replacement value. If you fail to declare the full replacement value of your property on the Licence Agreement, in the event of a claim you will only be entitled to recover the proportion of the loss as the declared value bears to the total replacement value of your property. As members of the Self Storage Association (UK) we abide by their terms and conditions and part of their security protocol is checking the identification of everyone who uses a unit. As such we will require the following ID documents to be shown when you check in:

• Photocard Driving Licence
• OR
• Passport and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated in last 3 months)
