Segment Storage recognises the important work of charities/voluntary organisations and how much our local communities both contribute to and benefit from our local charities and voluntary organisations.
We presently support the following organisations, either through free storage or sponsorship.
Evie’s Gift is a Melksham based charity that supports families of babies and children with life limiting illness and injuries. They give support through funding short term accommodation to enable parents to keep close to their critically ill child.
Free storage for the charity enables more funds to go towards the families they support.
“Melksham Beekeepers Association (“MBKA”) is a registered charity being one of 4 branches of Wiltshire Beekeepers Association. We support local beekeepers by providing courses and talks on beekeeping to them and to members of the public.
We are always keen to acquire new members of all ages to promote bees and other insect pollinators. The pollination of crops is an activity vital to human survival and we support efforts to reduce any pollution that affects our land, sea and sky.
MBKA has just completed a move to a new Apiary in Melksham coupled with a new meeting venue in Bowerhill. This has required a lot of planning to achieve over a 2 year period and to have access to some local storage has been very useful.”

Families Out Loud is a Wiltshire charity that supports people and families who are impacted by drug or alcohol dependency. Support is given through one to one interventions and group peer support both in person and online.
Families Out Loud raises funds in part through organising and attending craft markets.
Free storage enables this charity to store supplies in a central point, making it easy for volunteers to access and saving time, enabling Families Out Loud to maximise their impact.
